Peg, with a career in healthcare sales and sales leadership, and Craig, who took on the role of "Mr. Mom," defying traditional gender roles to be the primary caregiver for Joe and his siblings.

As the oldest of three siblings, Joe's childhood was marked by resilience and normalcy despite facing multiple medical challenges, including three open heart surgeries and numerous medical procedures.
